ABOUT
Who we are
Missing Persons Alerts Nationwide is a volunteer-run community alert network โ everyday people sharing verified missing-person alerts to help bring people home. Neighbors helping neighbors.
To be plain about it: we are not affiliated with law enforcement. We are simply volunteers โ neighbors sharing verified alerts โ doing this because every missing person deserves to be seen.
Our mission
- Share verified missing persons alerts quickly and accurately to help bring people home.
- Give a voice to families who feel unheard.
- Keep cases visible so they are not forgotten.
- Provide a supportive, respectful community focused on facts, not rumors.
- Advocate with compassion, integrity, and urgency.
How verification works
Every alert we publish is confirmed through an official source before it goes out:
- Law enforcement agencies (police and sheriff's offices)
- The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
- The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
- State missing-person clearinghouses
Third-party awareness platforms are treated as lead sources only โ a case is never published based on a third-party flyer alone. Rumors and unverified social media claims are never posted.
If you see someone from an alert
- Call the agency and phone number listed on the flyer immediately.
- In an emergency, call 911.
- Do not post tips or sightings publicly on social media โ share them directly with investigators.
- Do not approach anyone if it is unsafe to do so.
